Ralph Shirley was struck over the head with a singletree at the home of J.B. Fare on North Webb street about midnight and died in the Stamford Sanitarium about 4 a.m. Saturday night.
Body was taken to Anson where the funeral was held Monday. MR. Shirley operated a filling station in Anson.
