Merle F. Boslet

Mr. Boslet, 71, of 1903 19th St. died at 6:40 a.m. Monday, March 6, 1989 at Hershey Medical Center of an apparent heart attach.

Known as Mert, Mr. Boslet retired as a maintenance man from SKF industries Inc., in 1980, after 21 years' service. Prior to that he was a sheet metal worker for the Pennsylvania Railroad.

He was born June 25, 1917, in Altoona, the son of Cyrillus and Florence (Fonner) Boslet, and June 11, 1942, in Maryland, married Marcella Vogel.

Surviving are his wife, four children: Ann Dellaposta of Hagerstown, Md., Mark of Altoona, Christina Eastbourn of North East and Susan Lawruk of Middletwon; and 10 grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother and sister; Florence Carroll of Groton, Conn., and Clair of Myerstown.

Mr. Boslet was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones Funeral Home.



BOSLET~ The funeral of Merle F. Boslet of 1903 19th St. will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home, where a wake service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
