Services for Charlotte Nell (Curtis) Wynn, 78, of Cadiz, were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009, at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz, with Revs. Archie Brock and Wesley Curtis officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Cadiz.
Wynn died at 11:42 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton of natural causes.
Wynn was born Tuesday, June 2, 1931, in Golden Pond to Docia Mae (Burnam) Curtis and Guy Curtis.
A woman of the Baptist faith, Mrs. Wynn was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and had sang in the choir. She was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Garland Woodrow Wynn, her brothers Harry Lee, Lacy, Malcolm and Carlos "Buddy" Curtis, her sisters Mary Alice Kirby and Eva Lois Curtis, her daughter Lisa Carol Wynn, her stepson Harlon Wynn, and her grandchildren Kay and Faye McAlister.
She is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law-Alice Ann & Charles McAlister of Princeton, Tammy Birdsong & Keith Chadwick of Murray, Jackie & Phillip Moore of Hopkinsville, sons & daughters-in-law Gary Wayne & Janice Curtis of Cadiz, Randy & Dede Wynn of Cadiz, James & Renee Wynn of Fulton, Mo., her son Malcolm Wynn of Cadiz, her stepson Carol Wynn of Cadiz, her brother & sister-in-law Sid & Margaret Curtis of Princeton, 10 grandchildren, four step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
