Donald Dean Barker

(August 3, 1919 - November 5, 2011)

Son of Hyrum and Minnie Barker (dec) of Hobble Creek Cnyn. Served as a lead gunner on the USS MacDonough in WWII. Retired from Tooele Army Depot.

Survived by wife, Blanche (West) Barker, West Valley; sons, Douglas Barker, Murray, UT, Kenneth Barker (Svetlana), Denver, CO, daughter, Bonnie (Barker) Hayes, Ogden, UT and granddaughter Ariel Hayes, Ogden, UT. He is also survived by his brother, Norman Barker (Nortica) and sister, Marie (Barker) West of Springville, UT. Proceeded in death by his brothers, Glenn, Wayne and Loyd and son, Maurice.

Funeral services are Tues, Nov. 8, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Canyon Cove Chapel, 2375 E River Bottom Rd., Springville, UT. Viewings are Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 E 200 S, Springville and Tues, one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
