Preceded in death by husband, Walter James Davis; son, Walter James Jr.; daughter, Peggy Jean Loveday; father, Dewey Clifford Shipley; mother, Barbara Elleen (Beeler) Shipley; brothers, Dewey Leon and Eddie Ray Shipley. Survived by sons; Jackie (Sandy) Davis, and David Larry Davis; daughter, Karen Fletcher; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; brothers, Arvel Shipley, Paris Pickett, Daniel (Sonny), Dennis Shipley, and Jerry Shipley; sisters, Dorothy Cinnamon, Zelma Hunt, Velma Barker, Patsy Ruth Benboe, and Carolyn Benboe; very very best friends, Virginia Ricketts and Dot Helton. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with the service to follow at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Pastor Dennis Shipley and Jerry Shipley officiating.
