Joe Bunk Freeman, 78, of Martin, TN died Friday, June 28, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Freeman were held on Monday, July 1st, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Pisgah Cemetery.
Mr. Freeman was born May 16, 1935 in Weakley County, TN to the late Edward Carmack and Velma Harris Freeman. He was a Civil Engineer for the State of Tennessee for 44 years, a farmer, and a member of the Martin Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Tucker Freeman, sons; Mike (Carolyn) Freeman of Martin, Bryon Freeman of Nashville, daughter; Sherry (Max) Busby of Decatur, AL and two grandsons. Joe Ellis and John Michael Freeman of Martin.
