Samuel Stine

Samuel Stine, age 76, Mallard Cove, Harrodsburg, loving husband of Verna Lou Adams Stine, died Thursday, July 14, 2011 at his home. Born June 27, 1935 in Burgin, KY, he was the son of the late Orville and Anna Mae (Ball) Stine. He was a retired Pipefitter, an avid hunter and fisherman, and was a member of the Burgin Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: one daughter: Pamela J. (Glenn) Bugg of Harrodsburg; one son, William A. (Janet) Price of Harrodsburg, KY; one sister, Minnie L. (Alfred) Wilson; four grandchildren; one step grandchild; five great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Clifton, Wayne, and Ralph Stine, and two foster brothers, Howard Ball and Hugh Smith.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the Burgin Baptist Church by Carl McCray with burial in the Burgin Memorial GardenPallbearers are: Chris, Brandon, & Greg Price, Mike & Terry Wilson, and Rodney Stine. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Saturday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
