Mrs. Ferdinand Anderson, 82,
Akron, died Sunday (Jan. 29, 1984) at
her home near Akron.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 1 in Trinity Lutheran
church in Akron. The Rev. Marvin
Mueller officiated. Organist was Pam
Richards with congregational hymns,
"How Great Thou Art" and "God Be
With You Till We Meet Again".
Burial was in Riverside cemetery
under direction of the Schroeder funeral home of Akron. A 'prayer service was held, at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Pallbearers were Eric "Anderson,
Scott Anderson, Mark Anderson, Douglas
Dams, Larry Pendzich, James
Hughes and Robert Conner.
Mrs. Anderson, the former Hanna L.
Harkness was born March 27, 1901 in
Union county, South Dakota to George
and Margaret Card Harkness. She married
Ferdinand Anderson Oct. 17, 1917
in Akron. They farmed in the Kingsley
area for four years and at Merrill for
three years, moving to the Akron area in 1934.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of
Trinity Lutheran church and the ALCW.
Survivors include her husband, Ferdinand; two sons, Elmer Anderson and Lesley Anderson, both of Akron; one daughter, Mrs. Elwood (Thelma) Dams of Muskego, Wise.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Lyma Lambert of Akron.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, one brother, Harvey Harkness
and one sister, Levada Anderson.
