RUSH W. CLONINGER was born 17 May 1879-1880 and died at the age of 34 in Knoxville on 5 April 1914 from Tuberculosis. H.E. Christenberry attended to him from 8 April 1914 to 20 April 1914.

He married Annie Coram in Knox County on 16 August 1900. Rush was buried at New Gray Cemetery by undertakers E.M. Mann. The death record (#148) for Rush M. Cloninger lists his date of birth as 17 May 1879 and his date of death as 20 April 1914. He is listed as a "Grocer" and living at #18 Leroy Street in Knoxville. His parents are listed as
James Moses Cloninger and Nancy Ellen Shields.

In the 1910 Knox County census, page 20 he is listed as Rush Coloninger, 29 with Annie 30, Juddia 9, and brother Virgil Cloninger 17. I do not know at this time what happened to Annie and son Juddia.

In the 1920 Knox County census, sheet 31 there is a listing for a Jarvis S. Hinds 32, Anna B. 34, Jud Colinger 18, Charles Coffman 25, and Alto Coffman 23.

Social Security Death Indexes lists a Judd C. Colinger, born 15 July 1900 and died 28 July 1980 in Knoxville; buried at Greenwood Cemetery.

A Grace N. Colinger is listed with him and this may be his wife, born 15 December 1903 and died 9 June 1981.

His sister, Willie C. Cloninger; brothers: Frank Cloninger, Virgle Lee Cloninger and Alvin Clarence Cloninger. These are just a few of James Moses & Nancy Ellen Cloninger's 12 children.

They are all 2nd cousins 3x removed of DJ Cloninger
