Isabel Alvisa Snell was born March 23, 1867 in Union Township , Williamson County, Illinois . She married Cyrus Singleton Kimmel on April 14, 1887 in Union County, Illinois . Belle was her nickname.

She was the child of John Araldon Snell (1840-1906) and Margaret Jane Delilah Ollis Snell (1838-1924). Both are buried in Morgan Cemetery .

Cyrus Singleton Kimmel was born September 22, 1862 in Jonesboro Illinois and died October 14, 1927 in Union County , Illinois . They had 8 children: Clarence Singleton, Manuel Herbert, Thomas Elmer, Josephine, Roxie, Sam (or Claude), Raymond, and Araldon.
