DEFOREST - Stephanie Lynne Marshall, age 19, died unexpectedly as the result of a car accident on Friday, December 4, 1998. She was born in Madison on December 31, 1978, the daughter of Scott and Susan (Lackore) Marshall. Stephanie attended Emerson Elementary School in La Crosse, Verona Middle School, and graduated from DeForest High School in 1997. She enjoyed art and music, was a member of the FFA, and was active in track having been voted rookie of the year and most valuable player. Stephanie loved nature and animals and was in her second year at U.W.-Platteville with a major in Animal Science, working on her dream of becoming a veterinarian. At U.W.-Platteville, Stephanie was involved in Brockert Hall Council, served as programming chairman her freshman year, was on this year's homecoming committee, was an avid supporter of Hall Council, was a member of the Pre-Vet Club, attended Hall Council Retreat ('97-'98), and attended a Residence Life Leadership conference...

Also killed in the accident, were Crystal Egge, & Jeffery Nader.
