Howard "Gene" Krock, 82, of Sargent, Texas passed away on November 2, 2011 in Lake Jackson, TX.
He was born on January 21, 1929 to Adam and Edna (Kenney) Krock in Gleason, Tennessee. Howard worked as a Drawbridge Operator for State of Texas in Sargent. On February 19, 1965 he married Patricia Borland Krock whom preceded him in death on January 5, 2010.
He was a member of Caney Creek Chapel in Sargent, Texas.
Howard is survived by his daughters, Kimberly Hubenak & husand Joe of Rock Island, TX, Holly Link of Iowa, Jewel Lawson of Tennessee, Mary Primeaux & husband Robert of Houston, TX, Debbie Hall of Houston, TX, Marilyn Godlewski, Joyce Howard, Cindy Krock; sons, Adam Krock of Tennessee, Fredrick Krock of Houston, TX, and Samuel Willis (Krock) of Los Vegas, NV; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Patricia Borland Krock, parents Adam and Edna Kenney Krock, daughter Laramie Jane Krock, brother Roy Arthur Krock, and a sister Alice Jewel.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 10, 2011, 2:30 pm - 3:00 PM at Myrtle Cemetery in Rock Island, Texas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011, 3:00 pm at the Myrtle Cemetery in Rock Island, TX with Pastor Bert Hill officiating.
Burial will take place in the Myrtle Cemetery in Rock Island.
Memorials are suggested to Caney Creek Chapel, P.O. Box 4026, Sargent, TX 77404.
