Judith Paige Meyerhoeffer Bunt, 65, of Mount Crawford, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, after an extended illness.

Judy Paige was born in Harrisonburg on May 31, 1946, and was the daughter of Mrs. Betty Jo Heltzel Meyerhoeffer of Dayton and the late Joe Meyerhoeffer.

She was a graduate of the Turner Ashby High School Class of 1964 and also graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

Judy Paige was a well-known Shenandoah Valley watercolor artist and also did custom interior decorating. She had previously owned Willow Ridge Greenhouses for six years.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son, Michael Christopher Bunt of Mount Crawford, and a grandson, Christopher Devon Davis Bunt, also of Mount Crawford. She is also survived by her brothers, Joseph H. "Jody" Meyerhoeffer of Dayton and William H. "Bill" Meyerhoeffer of Bridgewater.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, William Jennings Bryan and Connie Heltzel Warner, Rawley T. and Sadie Hopkins Heltzel and Dr. Joseph S. and Ferne Huff Meyerhoeffer.
