Mary Easter Williams was the first born child of Isham Hall Williams and Sarah Elizabeth Feaster Williams. She was named after her two grandmothers - Mary Hall Williams (1795-1875) and Easter Phillips Feaster. She married John Benson Peters in Barry County, Missouri, July 25, 1875. The couple had two children: Osa Dillard Peters born November 20, 1875 in Barry County and Elbert Bynum Peters born December 1, 1877 in Stone County. In 1878-79 the young family made their way to Hill County, Texas, where they settled in the Prairie Dale Community.

Mary died in April 1881. John Benson Peters married Lucinda Harbert, a neighbor. They returned to Missouri where they had more children.
