Heather Lea (McFarland) Henson passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2011. Heather was born in Bartlesville, Okla., on Oct. 10, 1965, and spent most of her adult life in Tulsa, Okla. She moved to Colorado in 2007. Heather was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jo Richardson and is survived by her father and stepmother, Dr. and Mrs. James McFarland; two brothers, Jim and Paul McFarland; three sisters, Kim Toulouse, Keven Woodall and Crissy Swaim; her husband of 10 years, RC "Scootr" Henson; two stepchildren, three stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Heather was a true biker. She was a member of Bikers Against Child Abuse for over a decade and was currently the chapter secretary of the Fremont County Chapter of B.A.C.A. Heather loved riding her motorcycle, bluegrass music and OU Sooners football. A celebration of Heather's life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at Victory Life Ministries, 2315 Sprague Ave., Pueblo, Colo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to B.A.C.A., 113 Latigo Lane, Suite D PMB 180, Canon City, CO 81212 (please make checks payable to B.A.C.A. and write "In memory of Heather" in the memo line).
