Mr. McCool formerly was employed by the Hoopeston Canning Co. He was a member of the Moose Lodge here.
Born May 30, 1870 at Quaker, Ind., he was a son of Sandberg and Susan Pearson McCool. On Oct. 4, 1896 he was married to Rosa Etta Emery, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Ray, and a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Long, both of Hoopeston, three grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. May Whetstone, Dana, and Paul, Columbus, Ind.
The body has been taken to the residence but will be returned to Hamilton Funeral Home for service Monday at 1 pm. Burial will be in the Quaker, Ind. cemetery.
