~FUNERAL HELD FOR STELLA JACOBSON

Funeral Services for Mrs. Christella (Stella) Johansen JACOBSON, 63, were conducted by Bishop Glendon K. Stubbs in the Ephraim West Ward Chapel Monday afternoon.

Mrs. JACOBSON died at her home at 1:00 a.m. on July 28 after a long illness.

She was born September 30, 1896, in Mount Pleasant to Niels C. and Gertrude Jensen JOHANSEN. She was married to Ivan E. JACOBSON February 24, 1921 at Manti and they had made their home in Ephraim since then except for a few years spent in Nevada.

Survivors include her husband and one son, Monte, of Ephraim; another son, Merrill, Orem; five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Lester D. JOHANSEN, Richfield, Idaho; Francis S. JOHANSEN and Mrs. Heber (Pearl) ANDERSON, Mount Pleasant; Mrs. Byron (Aldeva) LARSEN, Fairview; Mrs. Gottfred (Etta) LARSEN, Spring City.

Music at the funeral was by a choir directed by Mrs. Mabel Dyreng and with H. A. Dean as accompanist. Mr. Dean also played prelude and postlude organ music. The choir sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" and "Farewell All Earthly Honors." Other music was two vocal solos. Montell Green sang "Beyond The Sunset" and Larry Nielson sang "O Rest In the Lord," both accompanied by Mrs. Ethelyn Peterson.

Speakers were Silas Ross, Mrs. Vera Reid and Bishop Stubbs. Prayer at the home was by Ivan L. Dyreng, those at the Service were by Wilford L. Breinholt of Ephraim and Evan Larsen of Fairview, and the Graveside Prayer was by Kenneth Reid.
