Mr. Iver D. Johnson was born in Nes, Hallingdal, Norway and came to this country with his parents. He was born on December 4, 1854, being 74 years old. He died 6th of May 1929. On September 13, 1888, he was united in marriage at Big Canoe Lutheran Church to Anna Eide, who survives him. Deceased was engaged in the creamery business at Quandahl, Iowa for a period of twenty years. In 1904 they moved to Spring Grove. From the years 1906 to 1924 he was in partnership with Mr. O. B. Nelson in the hardware business. Mr. Johnson then retired from the business life. Besides his wife he is survived by Mrs. Bertha Vaaler; Idella; Eldred, deceased and Olga, Mrs. Arnold Krogh.
