FRANCES SEFTON, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home Friday, October 10th, 2003. Frances was 92 years young, and still conducting her business of helping people. Frances is truly one of the remarkable women of her times. The Southern Baptist Convention recently awarded her her pin for 50 years of perfect attendance. She was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 70 years. She is a 50-year member of the Pilot Club.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia, son-in-law Gwynne Vaughn; son, Leon Sefton, daughter-in-law Marjorie Sefton and by her brothers O.D. Graham, Ebert Graham and sister Izella McCain. Her grandchildren surviving her: Myra Farris, Steven Sefton, David Sefton.

She is dearly missed by her many great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, in-laws, cousins, close friends, including her caretakers Cindy and Diana. The family request in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the scholarship fund, in the name of the Frances Sefton Trust, PO Box 1821, Deer Park, Texas 77536. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, October 13, 2003 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 14, 2003 in the Main Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Redmond and Rev. Roland Hill officiating. Interment to follow, Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
