Stephen W. Stanford, resident of Campbell, age 58, Steve was born in 1951 in Illinois and moved with his family to Campbell, CA at age 7. He was an all-star catcher for Campbell Little League as well as a competitive football player for Campbell High School. Shortly after high school graduation, Steve was in a car accident that left him a quadriplegic. He loved to travel, was an avid stock car racing fan. Steve is survived by his mother, two brothers and sister. Graveside services will be held at noon on Nov. 15, at Oak Hill Cemetery.
