Born Lucy Mader August 1, 1906, in Mountrail County where she was reared and attended school. Married Iver Johnson Oct. 22, 1929. They farmed in the Coulee and Kenmare area until her husband’s death in 1967. She had since lived in Kenmare.
Survivors: one son, Allen, Williston; four daughters, Mrs. Marie McCarthy, Forest River, Mrs. Laverne (Ethel) Anderson, Coulee, Mrs. Irvin (Karen) Eliason and Bonnie Potter, both of Stanley, one sister, Mrs. David Neether, Stanley; five brothers, Bill Mader, George Mader, Bennie Mader, all of Great Falls, Mont., Bernard Mader, Chester, Mont, and Kenneth Mader, Lostwood; and 14 grandchildren, Friends may call from 1 to 6 p. m. Sunday at Daniel-Sorensen Funeral Home, Kenmare.
