Georgia (COLWELL]_ROGERS SPENCER, 83, 7040 S. Indiana 25, Rochester, died at 5 a.m. Sunday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Hospital, Carmel.
Born in Estel County, Ky., to Jonas and Ella SMYTH COLWELL, she married Theodore R. ROGERS on March 23, 1936, in Mountain Springs, Ky. He died Sept. 1, 1977. She married Charley SPENCER in 1981 at Clay City, Ky. He died in 1982. She retired from Essex Wiring, Logansport. She was a member of Fulton Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis BROWN and husband James, Venice, Fla., Judith GREENLAND and husband James, Gold Canyon, Ariz., Cheryl ASH and husband Lee,Logansport; one son, Randy [SPENCER] and wife Betty, Fulton; four stepdaughters, Marilyn MILROY, Gloria AUSTIN and Charlene TURNER, Logansport, Shirley PICKENS, Lucerne; two stepsons, Dixon SPENCER, Knoxville, Tenn., and Bobby G. SPENCER, Burnettsville; two
sisters, Ila SPARKS, Leco, Ky., and Frankie ROGERS, Dayton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, 21 greatgrandchildren and numerous stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Glenda L. ROGERS, Aug. 20, 1958, four brothers and six sisters.
Funeral service is 1 p.m. Thursday at Zimmerman Brothers Funeral Home, Fulton, with Rev.George HAPNER officiating. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Fulton County Habitat for Humanity.
