Mrs. Runelle Browning Edmisten, age 63, of Carnesville, GA formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2011. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy Scott McGuire, father, Robert Browning, sister Molly McGuire, and grandmother, Tib Scott. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Duane Edmisten, Carnesville, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Shane Edmisten, Jefferson, GA, Tod and Gloria Edmisten, Carnesville, GA, and Jady Edmisten, Carnesville, GA; grandchildren McKenzie Edmisten, Jefferson, GA, and Katelyn Edmisten, Carnesville, GA; brothers, Rondell (Dink) Browning, Charlotte, NC, Byron Browning, Hiram, GA, and Tommy McGuire, Buford, GA; sister, Sheila Browning Wallace, Charlottesville, VA; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Lane and Doris Edmisten, Sugar Grove, NC and Phil Edmisten, Sugar Grove, NC; father, Ronald McGuire, Buford, GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Edmisten was born May 24, 1948 in Buford, GA. She was a 1966 graduate of Buford High School and was a former employee of Buford General Hospital as a clerk. She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church in Carnesville, GA. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jerome Hill and Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
