Rites Are Read For
Victim of Accident

BROWFIELD, June 17, (Special) - Last rites for Alfred T. Holsenbeck, 36, of seven miles southwest of Tokio, who died Saturday night after an automobile accident, were read at 5 o'clock this afternoon at the Brownfield Church of Christ.
Paul Lusby, minister of the Meadow Church of Christ, officiated, and burial was in Terry county Memorial cemetery under direction of Brownfield Funeral home.
Survivors include his wife and four children, Marcene, Vela Mae, Fayrene and Odis Ray, all under six years of age; three sisters, Mrs. A. V. Bethel of Portales, N.M., Mrs. B. H. Guynes of Seagraves and Mrs. R. A. Hodge of Mangum, Okla.; two brothers, Walter of Sunray and William M. of Weed, Calif.
Holsenbeck, who was between his car and trailer, resting after pushing the car in an attempt to start it, was killed almost instantly when the trailer was struck by a car driven by Mrs. Murrill M. Cross, 37, of Plains. Highway Patrol officers said the trailer had no lights, and apparently the car's lights had been turned off during the starting attempt.
