Notes from The Wall:

Jim and I were in R.O.T.C. together at Western Maryland College in Westminster, Maryland. He was also my "Little Brother" in Alpha Gamma Tau fraternity at the same school. Jim was a quiet, likeable guy with an easygoing manner. He was a friend to many and always ready to help the underdog. He had not only physical strength but strength of character. I will always remember him with fondness.

Jim 'Whitey' was a high school friend and inspiration. His life was cut way to short. Jim had so much potential that can never be fulfilled, but he chose to use his life for the benefit of us all. We greatly appreciate the sacrifice. The traveling wall is in Gettysburg this week. Jim graduated from college just down the road at Western MD (now McDaniel College). I will go to the wall to honor Jim.
