Mr. White was born in Montgomery, Alabama on February 25, 1927 to William F. White and Lois Olivia Cox White. At 8 years old, his family came to Macon on the train, arriving in a terrible rain storm. Mr. White was predeceased by his parents, W.F. and Lois White and his wife Elsie Louise White.
Mr. White is survived by his wife Dale Herndon White; one son, Bibb G. White, Jr. (Vickie) of Knoxville, Georgia; step-son William Bailey of Byron and step-daughter Brandy Randall (Ricky) of Byron; two grandsons, B.G. White III of Atlanta and Dustin White of Knoxville; two step-grandsons, Will Bailey of Jackson, Georgia and Brandon Randall of Byron; one brother W.F. White, Jr. of Macon; and nieces and nephews.
Mr. White was a long-time member of Lizella United Methodist Church. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII aboard the USS Denver. He retired from Bell South Telephone Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America where he was very active in past years.
