Grim Reaper Takes Robt. H. Williams, Lifelong Resident

Robert H. Williams, 66, a lifelong resident of Ionia, died at the residence, 109 East Main street, at 12:30 Saturday morning.

One month ago on June 23 Mr. Williams laid off from his work at the Grand Trunk freighthouse where he had been employed for a number of years.

Mr. Williams was born in Ionia, July 6, 1861, and lived in the city all his life.

Besides his widow Mr. Williams is survived by two children, Mrs. Alma Eva, of Pontiac, and Robert C. Williams, of Grand Rapids. Mr. Williams was an active member of the First Presbyterian church.

The funeral service will be held from the Presbyterian church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Dr. W. K. Spencer will officiate. Burial will be made in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.

Those wishing to view the remains may do so at the Presbyterian church between 1 and 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.
