Obituary, The Columbia Daily Tribune, December 18, 2006:

Shirley Benson, 62, of Centralia died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at her home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia, with visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be at Centralia Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, John Waterman of Sarasota, Fla., and James Benson of Centralia; grandson Nicholas Benson of Centralia; two sisters, Peggy Holt and Betty Strobietto; and brother Robert Rexroat.
