Obituary: Nila Faye Merrell Darton, 79, died Saturday, Nov 5, 1983, at Utah Valley Hospital. She was born Aug 1, 1904, in Colonia Dublan, Chihuahua, Old Mexico. She married Klin James Darton, April 9, 1923. The marriage was later solemnized in the Mesa, Ariz. Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and served a temple mission to New Zealand.

Survivors include her husband, sons and daughters: Helen Kunkel of Texas; Florence Green, Mona Madsen, Lawrence Darton, Ramon Darton and Ruth Joy Burr of Utah; Klin J Darton, Jr., and Arlene Oulette of California. Services were today in West Jordan.
