PVT CO F 7th GA Inf Confederate States of America and pension record has DOB as December 24, 1834 in Carroll County, GA.

Carroll County, Georgia 1870 Federal Census enumerated children as Amanda, John, James, William, Mary.

John M Gilley was married 3 times. It is listed in the Gilley Genealogy that his first wife was Nancy, died before Dec 1858 when he married Ann Lasseter. He also married a Frances E. after Ann Died.

I'm related to both John and Ann. John's father is my GGG uncle and wife Matilda is my GGG aunt ( brothers married sisters) My line is Jordan Gilley and Letha Raper, Matilda's sister.

Ann Lasseter's father was James Hill Lasseter (named after my GGG grandfather James A. Hill) brother to Ann's Grandmother Elizabeth Hill.
