On March 31, 1871, Josephine Peacock married Abraham Foreman in Thomas County, GA (Thomas County Marriage Book, 1855-1875, p. 298). They were married by the Rev. A.H. Lundy.
Mr. and Mrs. Foreman had eight children: Cora Duncan, James Jefferson, Delamar Glover, Mary, Wessie Blanche, Floy Daniels, Margaret Marian, and Howell Dudley Foreman.
Mrs. A. Forman Died Yesterday-
Mrs. Josephine Margaret Foreman, widow of Mr. A. Foreman, of Pavo, died in Atlanta at 12:45 Sunday morning. She had been ill for some time.
The body was brought here from Atlanta today and was carried to Pavo where it was interred at 11 o'clock this morning. Rev. C.M. Meeks of the Methodist Church and Rev. W.D. McGregor, of the Methodist Church at Pavo jointly conducted the services.
Mrs. Foreman had lived in Pavo practically all of her life, moving to Atlanta in recent years to live with relatives here. She was 82 years old at the time of her death. She is the mother of Mr. James Foreman, of this city, and was a woman of many fine traits of character and with numbers of friends throughout this section who greatly regret to learn of her death.
