Graveside services for W. Dwight Clark, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Visalia District Cemetery. Born in Visalia, the longtime resident died Monday of complications from multiple strokes.

He had lived in the Los Angeles and Ventura areas for many years. During World War II, he was a flight instructor at Sequoia Field and later served in the Army Air Transport Command as a pilot, flying the "Hump" in the Burma campaign. He worked for the Southern California Edison Co for 44 years before retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for more than 40 years.

Surviving are a son, Gerald D. Clark, and two grandchildren, Warren D. Clark II and Valerie M. Clark, all of Visalia.
