David Edward Morrison, 57, of Seymour, Texas, died Saturday, November 18, 2000, in the Seymour Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, at Northeast Baptist Church with Brother Johnny Bullard, pastor, officiating and Mack Vickery assisting. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
David was born April 28, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas. He lived most of his life in Wichita Falls. He was an oilfield worker and sandblaster before his retirement. He moved to Seymour in 1990. He and Melissa Shradley were married July 11, 1987, in Wichita Falls, and have been together for twenty years. He was a member of the Northeast Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, R.C. Morrison; his mother, Judy Palmer; and a sister, Faye Morrison.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa, of Seymour; three sons, David Jr. of Wichita Falls, Johnny of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jimmy of Seymour; two sisters, Leah Raye Bullard and husband, Johnny, and Cathy Wright and husband, Floyd, of Seymour; his stepmother, Nora Bell Taylor of Seymour; nieces, Tammy and Mack Vickery of Nashville, Tennessee, Terry and Cesar Martinez and Linda Bullard, all of Fort Worth, Tamara Rogers and David Birkenfeld, Carrie and Raymond Flores and Terry Haak, all of Seymour; and many great nieces and nephews and friends who loved David and will miss him greatly.
