David, son of Clotworthy S. and Rebecca Fisher, was born in Sharpe Ridge, Mayberry Twp, Montour County, Pa. He was first married on Nov. 6th, 1862, to Rebecca Jane Lake. She died June 9th, 1864 from complications of childburth and their only child Lula Jane lived on
He was married secondly to Elizabeth E Lewis on Feb. 19th, 1870. They have resided at Bloomsburg, Pa., for a number of years, where he is engaged in business as a blacksmith. Together they had 8 children:

3. Sallie, b. Nov. 9th, 1870; d. May 16th, 1872.
4. John A., b. Feb. 2d, 1873.
5. Hattie, b. Sept. 27th, 1875.
6. Benjamin, b. April 25th, 1878.
7. Weldy, b. May 24th, 1881.
8. Minnie, b. Nov. 8th, 1884; d. Nov. 8th, 1884, and
9. Charles, b. Oct. 31st, 1887.
