Joe T. Rebelski, 85, died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 in the VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN.

Mr. Rebelski was born March 7, 1922 in Rutland, ND. He grew up and attended school in Crete, ND, graduating from Crete High School. Joe joined the US Army-Air Corps in 1942, where he continued his education. In 1945, he was seriously wounded in the Central South Pacific, and received the Purple Heart and several other decorations. After his discharge from the Army in 1947, as a Disabled Veteran, he moved to Washington state and later to North Dakota and then to Bagley, MN, where he resided for many years. In 2005, he moved to Fargo and has since lived in Rosewood on Broadway, Fargo.

He is survived by two sisters, Martha Opdahl, Fargo and Julia Zaspel, Puyallup, WA; many nieces and nephews.
