McCLURE - Mabel M. Walls, 80, of 3988 Old Stage Rd., McClure and formerly of Lawler Place, Lewistown, died at 10:57 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, at her home.

Born Jan. 28, 1928, in Three Springs, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Carrie (Locke) Park. Her husband, Charles E. Walls Sr. preceded her in death on April 17, 1978.

Surviving are: children, Charles E. Walls Jr. and his wife, Mary, of McClure and Carolyn Boozel and her husband David, of McVeytown.

Also surviving: a brother, Donald Park and his wife Geraldine, of Mt. Union; sisters, Lois Hampton, of Lewistown and Sara Park, of Glen Campbell; grandchildren, Andrea and Daphne Walls, David Boozel Jr. and Dougles Boozel; and two great-grandchildren, Tyler Boozel and McKenzie Boozel.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and 10 sisters.

She was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Church of the Brethren.

Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11, 2008 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Home, Inc. 108 First Ave., Burnham with the Rev. Ronald C. Stacey officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Sunday evening at the funeral home.
