Hager Robinson, 91, of 3084 Lynn Driver, Hunter, died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 10, 1999, at Middletown Regional Hospital. He was born in Jackson, Ky., on July 19, 1907, a son of France and Callie (Gabbard) Robinson. He worked for many years as a miner for the Blue Diamond Coal Co. Mr. Robinson was a life member of Hazard Masonic Lodge 676. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Shillinglaw (husband William) of Franklin; two grandchildren, Leah Basley (husband Jerry) and Greg Shillinglaw (wife Joyce); two great-grandchildren, Emily and Kyle; and two brothers, Granville of Middletown and Mervin of Franklin. His wife, Maudie, preceded him in death in 1987.
