Funeral services for Avis Nadine Huitt, 67, were held Tuesday, Sept. 2, aat the Hart Memorial Chapel with Brother Coy Page of Morrow, Ark. officiating. Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Ark., under the direction of Hart Funeral Home.
Mrs. Huitt was born on June 10, 1930, in Morrow, Ark. to Oscar Franklin and Lucy Rosetta West Wilhite. She passed away Saturday, August 30, 1997 in Fullerton, Calif.
Avis was retired from accounts administration in the mortgage banking industry. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Velma Jetton; and four brothers, Theodore, Lawrence, Arlie and Burl Wilhite.
Mrs. Huitt is survived by: two daughters, Glenna Rose Shriver of Windsor, Calif., and Dana Gaye Hallock of Brea, Calif.; three grandchildren, two-great-grandchildren; one brother, Lester Wilhite of Westville; and three sisters, Vada Reed of Westville, Lila Parsons of Mesa, Ariz., and Bonnie Janway of Fayetteville, Ark.
