Mary E. Simon, 79, De Pere died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2002, at a local hospital. Mary was born to the late Egan and Lilamae (Dart) Norman on Aug. 8, 1923. She served her nation in the U.S. Army and lived in California for a few years before returning to the area. She married Harold Simon Aug. 9, 1969, at St. Francis Church in De Pere. Mary was a registered nurse at St. Vincent Hospital for many years before retiring in 1969. She enjoyed golfing, swimming, traveling, card playing and wintering in Florida.
Survivors include her husband, Harold a stepson, David and Mary Simon, Milwaukee two grandchildren, Mary Jane and Cindy Jean a sister-in-law, Agnes Simon, Sturgeon Bay special nephews and nieces, Glenn and Jean Norman, Green Bay Julie and Dave Nusbaum, Brookfield Steve and Mary Kay Norman, Green Bay and Mark and Geri Norman, Sturgeon Bay.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents and a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and LaVerne Norman.
