Robert Manley, 98, of Melbourne, Fla., died Saturday, June 18, 2011. He was born in Kansas City, Mo., to Katherine and Louis Manley. Robert came to Brevard County in 1992 from Leawood, Kan. He was very active in golf until 2006. He continued up until the end to play his piano, and caned chairs as a hobby. Robert is survived by his son, Robert (Jan) Manley; daughter, Carol (Steve) Robertson; grandchildren, Anne and Sarah Robertson, Katherine, Brett and Ashton Manley; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Alberta, his wife in 1994, also preceded in death by his three siblings, Margaret Woodworth, Baker Humes Manley and Louis N. Manley, Jr. Robert was the youngest of that generation. Condolences may be sent to Beach Funeral Home.
