I have the documents from 1844 from the settlement of her estate and it specifically says in part of it that the date, time and place of her death are unknown, and also it is unknown to this day where she is buried. Very strange and sad. I can only presume that Indians or other people of ill repute got her… She had purchased a 1/4 league of land and had not finished paying for it, so it had to be sold on the courthouse steps. Felix wrote a number of the documents and purchased the land for the remainder of the debt. I believe she'd paid for approximately 1/2 to 2/3 of it…
