Anna M. (Britcher) Fry, 99, of Sylvan Drive, Stowe, widow of Melvin M. Fry, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Manatawny Manor, East Coventry Twp.

Born May 21, 1912 in Mifflintown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Floyd Britcher and the late Elizabeth (Clark) Britcher.

She was the widow of Melvin M. Fry.

Mrs. Fry was a folder at the former Yocom Knitting Mill for 20 years.

She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stowe, and a member of Schuylkill Chapter #338 Order of Eastern Star, Pottstown.

She is survived by a son, Gary M. Fry, Stowe; three sisters, Hazel, Alma, and Jane; three grandchildren, Shawn, Alicia, Gary, and two great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Earl, Clark, James, Jacob, and Thomas and four sisters, Nora, Helen, Stella and Pauline.

Funeral Services were 11:15 a.m. on Monday, October 10 from the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory 359 King St., Pottstown. Eastern Star services started at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Reverend John Smolik. Burial was in Highland Memorial Park.

There was a viewing on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Peter's Lutheran Church 564 Glasgow Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.

Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, at 359 King St. in Pottstown.
