Betty Ruth Ganey Manning, 87, of Jesup, Georgia died Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Wayne Memorial Hospital. The Wayne County, Georgia native was a member of Brunswick Seventh Day Adventist Church, homemaker, former factory worker, and former employee with Stuckey Dry Cleaners. She loved sewing and being with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, James Cecil “Pete” Manning.
Survivors are daughters, Beth (Jeff) Beecher of Hazlehurst, Georgia, Patsy (Keith) Johnson of St. Simons Island, Georgia, Susan (Phillip) Murray of Orange Park, Florida; sons, Cecil (Sue) Manning of Milton, Florida, Steve (Gloria) Manning of Jesup, Georgia, Mitchell Manning of Hazlehurst, Georgia; grandchildren, Angie (Shane) Kilpatrick , Eric (Kim) Manning, Patrick (Molly) Manning, Crystal (Stacy) Mullis, Bryan (Amanda) Manning, Hannah Michelle (Roger) Fletcher, Whitney (John) Hunter; great grandchildren, Makayla Manning, Kamden Knighten, Brooklyn Manning, Jesse Beecher, Alexis Manning, Camron Manning.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dean Read and Rev. Stan Todd officiating. Interment will be in Odum City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of Golden Living Center.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to service at the funeral home.
