Staples, Minn., Lila Marie Cole, 75, Pillager, Minn., formerly of Kenmare, North Dakota, died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in a Staples hospital.
She was born May 5, 1926 to John & Lottie Richmond near Pillager. She married James Cole June 7, 1949, in North Dakota.
Survivors: sons, Jack of Fallon, Nev., Jim of Little Falls, Minn., Joe of Aberdeen, SD., and daughter Janet Loftis of Pillager; stepdaughters, Loretta Hendrickson, Wahpeton, Jeanette Lerfald of Kenyon, Minn., Marlene Kort of Brainerd, Minn., Stepson, Arnold Pillager; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, Sister Julia Gochanour, Staples.
Funeral Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Staples. Burial in a Wildwood Cemetery at Pillager.
Parish prayers begin tonight at the Brenny Funeral Home, Staples. Visitation; Relatives will receive people from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
