LYONS - Leo F. Manke, 90,
died Sept. 27, 1994, at Lyons District
Hospital.
He was born July 27, 1904, in
Rice County, the son of Leopold
and Amelia Bortz Manke. A Lyons
resident since 1967, formerly of
Bushton, he was a farmer.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran
Church, Lyons.
On June 12, 1929, he married
Edna Koch at Ellinwood. She survives.
Other survivors include: two
sons, Dwayne and Gilbert, both of
Ellinwood; a daughter, Marceleen
Margheim, Derby; a sister, Hattie
Merriman, Ellinwood; eight grandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren;
two step-great-grandchildren; and
two step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday
at Grace Lutheran Church,
Lyons, with Pastor Thomas Kershaw
presiding. Friends may call
from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sillin
Funeral Home, Lyons. Burial will
be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
Memorials may be sent to t he
church or t h e Alzheimer's Foundation,
both in care of the funeral
home.
