Idora was known as a most competent and conscientious woman, who did much to establish and try to maintain a higher standard for the School of Nursing. She was active in the establishment and early growth of the Oklahoma State Nurses' Association. She served as President of The Oklahoma State Association of Graduate Nurses from 1911-1915.
