ALLEN, Bessie Annie,88, of Manchester, Tennessee died Monday, July 1, 2002 at Medical Center of Manchester. A native of Hollywood, Alabama she was the daughter of John Smith and Uzy Steele. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Orion Lee Allen and Robert E. Allen; three daughters, Gladya Faye Allen, Martha Marie Thompson and Shirley Ann Leverette; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-two greatgrandchildren. Graveside services and burial were held Friday, July 5, 2002 at 10:00 A.M. at Concord Cemetery.
