Mrs. Hannah Dietsch, 85, a lifelong resident of Marion county, died Saturday night at 6, at her home four miles southeast of Marion on the Cardington road. She had been ill of a complication of diseases for the past three weeks.
Surviving her are four daughters, Misses Lydia and Dora Dietsch of the home, Mrs. Christ Hecker of near Prospect, and Mrs. Albert Goyer of near Marion; one son, John F Dietsch of near Marion; leven grandchildren; and one sister, Miss Clara Schrote of near Marion.
Mrs. Dietsch was born in Pleasant township May 13, 1849, a daughter of Frederick Schrote, a native of Germany and Lydia Reeley Schrote, a native of Pleasant township. She was married in April of 1869 to john F Dietsch. Her husband died 48 years ago.
She was a member of the Zion M.E. Church south of Marion. The funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 2 pm. at the home and at 2:30 p.m. at the Zion M.E. Church. Interment will be made in Marion Cemetery.
