Timothy Allen Bevill, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 1:26 am. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the family home in Burlington, North Carolina after his 18 month courageous battle with lymphoma. He was age 47 Years, 6 Months, 29 Days.

Tim Bevill was married to the former Robin Williams on October 11, 1986 in New Havover County. They were married 24 Years, 6 Months, 1 Day and were as much in love at his death as the day they were married. Tim and Robin were blessed with a son and daughter, who were his pride and joy; Kristine Bevill, of the home, and Travis (Taylor) Bevill of Elon.

Tim was the oldest of the three sons of Allen and Yvonne Willetts Bevill of Winnabow, growing up in the Mill Creek Community in Brunswick County, North Carolina. His brothers included Dwight (Cindy) of Boiling Springs, North Carolina and Russell Bevill of Burgaw.

Eulogies were given by the four brothers-in-law, Gene, Rick, Tony and Scot Williams. He also leaves behind a mother-in-law, Dorothy Dempsey, of Wilmington, NC and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Predeceasing him were grandparents, Sam (Ovie) Bevill of Huntingdon, TN, Sylvia Bevill, of Big Sandy, TN and Hugh Delmas Willetts, Sr. and Mertie Atkinson Willetts of Winnabow, and father-in-law, John Carl Dempsey.

Tim was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to all. He was a member of Integrity Community Church, who provided much support, physically and spiritually, which was greatly appreciated.

He never turned down anyone who needed his help, whether it be his family, friends or a stranger. His main passion, after God and his family, was anything related to computers and technology. He loved to fish and go camping.

Throughout his diagnosis and treatments, Tim never lost his optimism nor his smile. He continued working at his job as a Project Manager at Avaya Communications until he began the home stretch of treatments that was to have included a stem cell transplant from the aid of his brother. In the final days, it was Tim who sought to bring joy and encouragement to those around him and proclaimed his desire to meet each one of them again in eternity.

A funeral service with Pastor Bud Wren, officiating, was held on Friday, April 15, 2011 at 6:00 pm at McClure Funeral Home Chapel at 1308 South Third Street, NC 27302. Visitation was held with the family prior to the service.

Interment was held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 16 in Wilmington.
