Son of John McKabney 1823-1913 and Delia Johnsten 1839-1922. First husband of Eula Marion Canfield, the daughter of Robert A Canfield and Joanna Hufft.
Father of Regina E Wilson, Dwight McKabney and Phyllis Joan McKabney Young.
Samuel was a highly intelligent man who became a banker. He contracted Encephalitis from a mosquito bite, and was eventually left paralyzed and incapable, leaving Eula and three children as he was institutionalized for the remainder of his life.
